World’s smallest twin-engined aircraft

cri-cri
Cri-cri (after the French word for cricket) is a very light twin-engined kitplane, recognized as the smallest twin-engined aircraft in the world.

Designed in the early 1970s by a French aeronautical engineer Michel Colomban, the Cri-cri aircraft has a wingspan of just 5 meters, and a length of about 4 meters.

Not surprisingly, the Cri-Cri is exceptionally acrobatic, capable of performing a full roll in less than a second.

Even more impressive, is the fact that French pilot Nicholas Charmont decided to up the ante–by refitting his Cri-Cri with jet engines! (See photo above.)
