
Pierre Cardin’s residence is one part house, two parts hallucination
In the early Eighties, French fashion designer Pierre Cardin wanted to buy an atypical summer house in Cannes.
While searching, he stumbled across a construction site being built by architect Antti Lovag for a French industrialist. When the owner died before the Bubble home’s completion, Cardin bought asked the architect to complete it for him. The finished home is all curves, inside and out.
