Sarkozy says EU, France made no payment to Libya (Reuters)

"I can quite simply confirm to you that neither Europe nor France have made the slightest financial contribution to Libya," French President Nicolas Sarkozy told a news conference in Paris in answer to a question on what terms the Libyan government had demanded for the release of the medics.
