Not clear enough?
It’s clear now what caused the accident that killed 26 Polish pilgrims and seriously injured 24 in the East of France last week.
The 22-year old driver simply ignored about a dozen road signs telling him not to take the road that sent his bus into a ravine. Rather than heeding the warnings he decided to follow his GPS.
French road professionals are outraged with that stupidity. Modern GPS equipment has a special setting for buses and lorries, which points drivers to alternative routes.
Those pilgrims may have been looking for a divine miracle in France, but it takes human intelligence to survive a trip on French roads.
