Tomorrow a Sarko-Free Day? Fat Chance!

Haha, I have my master plan ready!

An association named Rassemblement pour la démocratie à la télévision (RDT) has called for 30 November to be a Day Without Sarkozy.

They believe that The Boss appears too often in the media. Many journalists and publishers like the idea in private, but they won’t be able to comply. Some local radio stations will support the campaign but that’s where it stops.

And Sarkozy himself? As usual, he has his master plan ready. Tonight he will be on prime-time TV to talk about his plans to reduce the cost of living and to counter hooliganism in the suburbs.

And all other media will have him on the frontpage tomorrow.

Update 30 Nov: Nouvelobs.com complies in part today. The name Sarkozy is totally absent from the front page. Instead, they call him “the head of state” and “the president” wherever they can’t avoid referring to The Man.
