Another day, another FreakingNews Photoshop contest, another homage to French painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau.
In the context of the British teacher in Sudan who got into trouble for allowing a teddy bear to be named Mohammed, contestants were invited to photoshop teddy bears any way they wish. One of the 16 entries was this Bouguereau rip-off (full size). The inset shows a fragment of Bouguereau’s original work, “The First Kiss“, from 1873.
