Today’s Bouguereau rip-off comes from FreakingNews. This photoshopped version (view full size) is based on William Bouguereau’s original 1884 work Les Deux Baigneuses (The Two Bathers, see original). It was the winning entry in the “Australia Day” contest, celebrating the anniversary of the establishment of the first British colony on the continent of Australia.

(But what a pity the artist decided to dress the two actresses in bikinis — the women in the original painting are nude…)
