Jacques Henri Lartigue (June 13, 1894 – September 12, 1986) was a famous French photographer and painter, who started taking photos when he was six. He is most famous for his stunning photos of automobile races, planes and fashionable Parisian women from the turn of the century. He took this photo in 1906, when he was twenty twelve years old.

The photo description identifies the girl as Simone Roussel. No information is available about her. She can’t be the Simone Roussel who later became famous as actress Michèle Morgan — she was born in 1920. Let’s call her the mystery girl…

If Lartigue was born in 1894, he couldn’t be twenty years in 1906.. He was 12 years old.
