What??!!
Wait…does it mean “refuse to carry frenchmen [with] dogs” or “refuse to carry [either] frenchmen or dogs”?
what about French women? what about italians and dogs?
Frenchmen and dogs – two of my favourite things. I’ll bet he doesn’t like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens either.
It’s the last century when Shanghai was a concession ,many concession parks have bands wrote “Chinese and dogs not admitted” . Chinese people thought it’s a humiliation ( we always been educated by school :before liberation the foreign colonist threat Chinese as dogs ) . That’s the reason the driver wrote “frenchmen and dogs”.
I live in Shanghai ,my friends don’t boycott French productions . We talked about the Carrefour things before and agree to each other : it’s a fandangle to boycott Carrefour cause so many chinese work for Carrefour (mostly are chinese) .If Carrefour closed ,these people will lose job . How guiltless they are ! They should not be the ash of polity bomb .
