    Bouguereau Wins Again. And Again.

French 19th century master painter William Bouguereau remains the undisputed source of inspiration for talented photoshoppers. Shown above are fragments of Wet Alien (based on Bouguereau’s Wet Cupid, 1891) and a double portrait of Katie Holmes, as mother and as child (based on Bouguereau’s The Seashell, 1871).

Both remastered versions were first-prize winners on photoshop contest sites FreakingNews and Worth1000 this week.

And, of course, both have been added to the Bouguereau Remastered blog!
