French Search Engine War Is Over

Nine in ten French now search the web with Google.

90pct.jpgFor the first time, Google has scored a 90.01 share of the search market in France in April 2008, 1 point up from April 2007. Second best is Yahoo! (3.04%), followed by Microsoft Live Search (2.53%), AOL (1.59%), and Orange (1.39%). All remaining search engines share the last 1.44% of the market.

For comparison’s sake: in the USA, Google accounted for 65.26% of all searches in April. Yahoo!, MSN and Ask.com received 20.73% , 8.46% and 3.69%, respectively.
