    Sorry to bring up this point again but this picture is rightly named as you can see " rodeo Bonaparte".

    It seems you're the only one to insist on Napoleon…

    BTW, did you notice that there is a rue Bonaparte in Paris, but no rue, or avenue, Napoleon ? Must mean something…

    Alain: Wikipedia calls him Napoleon I (born Napoleone di Buonaparte, later Napoleon Bonaparte). And recently I was in the south of the country and drove along the Route Napoleon - not the Route Bonaparte. I'm not sure how he is called by historians, but I'm sure most people know him as Napoleon. Anyway, the full 31-part series is done, and I'm not changing the title, I'm afraid…

    I thought that writing a blog about France implied a minimum knowledge of the subject, or at least, a gentle acceptation of corrections by the natives.

    I was wrong.
