Some people don’t age gracefully:
Bardot when she was still smoking hotBrigitte Bardot (born 28 September 1934, wiki) was once a stunning beauty, and symbol of French femininity. Today, she’s a homophobic and islamophobic nutcase, with multiple convictions for inciting racial hatred. No happy birthday wishes for her!

LEAVE BRIGITTE BARDOT ALONE
LEAVE HER ALONE, DAMMIT
I MEAN IT!
What’s the problem?
To appreciate these convictions you have to remember that France is no longer a country of free speech.
Bardot for convicted for “incitng racial hatred” when she complained about the way lambs were slaughtered for the Aid feast.
Well, I don’t know what General Pepper’s problem might be – unless it were that there are too few Os in his madly-capitalized rant-typing of the word “ALOOOOOOOOONE”, so that it lacks the proper whininess necessary.
As far as MY problem with this post: couldn’t you have found some contemporary unflattering photo of Mme to share with us your loyal readers? Au TRAVAAAAAAIL, paresseux!!!!
Alain: I’m just quoting Wikipedia
Dveej: I couldn’t find a recent pic of BB smoking…
Romke calling someone else a racist. Now that’s irony!
LEAVE BRITNEY SPE…. i mean BRIGITTE BARDOT ALOOOOOONE!
(where’s your sense of humour, guys? you mean i fooled you all?
well, having lived in France so long sharpens ones ability to provocotiveness*)
*=is that a word?
Superfrenchie: grow a brain and read what I wrote, or shut up and write your own blog
romke, your blog’s name is made up of a racist slur and an outdated stereotype. You proudly say that you hate the French half of your time. And many of your posts are made up of stereotypical drivel, telling us how inferior the French are to people like you or the Brits. How different is that from what BB is saying about Muslims?
It is my understanding she was convicted for free speech. She spoke out against the way lambs were being killed. She is an animal rights advocate – has been for many years. This does not make her Islamophobic. In France you can be convicted for expressing an opinion that others might not agree with – but it doesn’t make her a racist. She was not even against eating or killing lambs. She just wanted them killed in a way that to her was more humaine instead of the ritualistic way.
I completely agree with Donald. I would be very happy if my muslim friends killed their lambs in a more humane way. We may be in the “pays des droits de l’homme” (men mainly). I would like to live in the “pays des droits de la femme” and the “pays des droits des animaux” aussi. I don’t like seeing French women with their faces hidden behind a veil or a scarf (we French women fought for long for our rights and our freedom) but I am not supposed to say that as I might get condemned too.
I liked Bardot and I still like her.
