Naked in 2009: Rugby Players
Each year, French garçons and filles strip by the dozens for their traditional nude calendar.
Today: Les Dieux du Stade 2009 (Gods of the Stadium, wiki), with macho boys of the Stade Français, a domestic French rugby team. (In more recent years, players from other rugby union clubs and athletes from other sports have also been included.)
The highly popular calendars were first published in 2001, and the ninth edition is now out, with photos by Peter Lindbergh. Because of the explicit erotic (and sometimes homoerotic) photos inside, I'm showing only the cover here:
While I was researching this post I came across a nice spoof: Les Vieux du Stade (Old Men of the Stadium), featuring the aging French rocker (and Frogsmoker) Johnny Hallyday:
It's only a fake cover, so don't expect any nude photos of other geriatric artists!
