Balou just woke up from hibernation and has enjoyed his first breakfast.

Shepherds is the Pyrenees have noticed winter is over. Balou, one of the Slovenian bears in the mountains has devoured his first sheep. The ban the bear campaign is likely to gather pace again. Expect furious protests soon, and don’t be surprised if one of the bears will become the “accidental” victim of a collision with a fast (and strong) car in the coming weeks.
