The political correctness police strikes again. The release of the first volume of Jacques Chirac’s memoirs has been delayed a month. Officially it’s because the ex-prez wants to read the manuscript one more time. Unofficially it’s because the chosen cover photo is a political and legal no-go. The pic shows a young Jacques puffing away, which is outlawed these days.
