Do you believe the exchange might be authentic?
I don't. Quite aside from the weird rudeness of the Irish guy, certainly in his last reply,
a/ France have an embassy in Dublin. Why put in a request concerning the head of state through some consulate?
b/ I've just had a few exchanges with the French Consulate in my own country, I can witness that French Consulates have their own address on their letterhead, not some address in France.
c/ Check the postcode: Paris is 75, not 74.
