Now that nearly one in two marriages in France ends up in a divorce, there’s an interesting niche market appearing.
A new book, La Cuisine du divorcé, aims at divorced husbands who have no idea how to feed themselves.
The book is not just a compilation of easy recipes, it’s also a survival guide. It accompanies the suddenly solitary man in reconquering the cooker and the oven, establishing a kit of kitchen utensils, organizing the cupboards and the fridge, managing his food budget, and feeding the kids.
Not wanting to aim exclusively at ex-husbands, the author also recommends the book to those men who are married and want to stay like that.
