You may remember this poster, which got a lot of publicity last year:
It shows Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld wearing the compulsory reflecting jacket with the slogan “It’s yellow, it’s ugly, it doesn’t go with anything but it can save your life“. Some people were already questioning the wisdom of wearing sunglasses at night but now it turns out that Lagerfeld never posed for the shoot, and never wore that jacket. It was just a stock photo, photoshopée by the advertising agency.
Moral of the story: never trust a German with boxing gloves!
