    French Chansons with Subtitles

There was a time when French artists wrote and performed songs that touched the hearts of music lovers all over the word. Those days are gone - and so are most of those singers.

Fortunately, videos of their performances are still around. I’ve collected some of them here, making sure they’re all subtitled, so you can follow the lyrics even if you don’t master the French language. Enjoy!

    Edith Piaf: Hymne à l’Amour

    Jacques Brel: Seul (Alone)

Jacques Brel: Ne me quitte pas (If you go away)

    Jacques Brel: Amsterdam

    More by Jacques Brel

    Charles Aznavour: la Mamma

    Charles Aznavour: La Boheme

Charles Trenet: La Mer (The Sea)

Juliette Greco: Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves)

Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot: Bonnie and Clyde

    Barbara: Le Bel Age

Mireille Mathieu: A quoi tu pense-dis

Les chansons de Jacques Brel sont souvent sous titré par les hollandes… et c’est vraiment con!
Même les noms des personnages ce changent.

    Eh bon :)

    Merci encore pour ton blog!
