Expert Calls Nicolas Sarkozy “Capable”
For those who had any doubts about the presidential qualifications of Nicolas Sarkozy: Bush calls him “capable”.
US President George W. Bush said on Thursday he looked forward to working with French president-elect Nicolas Sarkozy, who he praised as “energetic” and “capable.”
“I had met with him before when he came over here and found him to be a very engaging, energetic, smart, capable person,” Bush told a press conference in his first public remarks about the incoming French president.
“We will have our differences and we will have our agreements, and I’m looking forward to working with him,” the US president said.
The photo shown above was taken last summer. French magazine Marianne suspects the picture was manipulated. Bush is 1.83m (6ft) tall, Sarkozy 1.68m (5ft6in). On the photo they’re equally tall.
