Mobile phones are dangerous for vegetables
Stressed tomato - and a potential future victim.
French scientists have made an important discovery.
Researchers at the Clermont-Ferrand university have determined that tomatoes, when exposed to the magnetic waves of mobile phones, get stressed within ten minutes. They start secreting a molecule, which usually only occurs when they get damaged.
The question is now: do humans have anything in common with vegetables, and — if so — do mobile telephones contribute to the stress level of the 48 million French who have one?
