Al-Qaeda infiltrates French rock band?
US Paranoia grounds French rock band
French glam rock group Fancy have been forced to cancel their USA tour because one of the band members has the wrong name. Guitarist Mohamed Yamani was apparently refused a visa because his name sounds like Abu Mohamed Al Yamani, a known Al-Qaeda operative.
There’s only one little problem: the Al-Qaeda guy was killed by Algerian security forces in 2006, and hasn’t touched a guitar since.
Here’s what the Americans are now missing (maybe the Al-Qaeda link was just an excuse):
