Shown above are fragments of Wet Alien (based on Bouguereau’s Wet Cupid, 1891) and a double portrait of Katie Holmes, as mother and as child (based on Bouguereau’s The Seashell, 1871).

Both remastered versions were first-prize winners on photoshop contest sites [1] FreakingNews and [2] Worth1000 this week.
