Quick Phrase of the Day - Non Smoking

Something you may have to say to a shop owner:
Je suis désolé. C'est trop cher pour moi (zhuh swee day zole lay. Say troh shehr poor mwah) - I am sorry. It is too expensive for me.Repeat this phrase & write it down all day long till you know it by heart.

Sorry teacher but " une table dans la non fumeur" is not correct French syntax.
Besides, as you may know, there is no more smoking or non-smoking sections as smoking is 100% banned in public places.

Alain is quite correct - you won't need expression number 1 any longer
BUT
You'll most probably have use for example n°2 every day!!

Also, as I am a beginner too, I am taking a lot from books that I have. Itry to explain to all that are taking in my site, that my purpose is to learn french too, not to be fluent, but to be able to stumble around France & be able to be somewhat understood, much in the same way foreignors come here & even though they do not speak perfect Englishm I can still make out what they are saying. That is what I hope to achieve when if & when I go to France. I am just trying to let everyone have fun with my site. Enjoy -Roy
