From now on, for the French press it’s strictly illegal to reveal the names of members of the French special forces and secret service.
If you can’t resist revealing a spy’s name you’re slapped with a 15,000 euro fine.
In unrelated news, an officer in the French spy agency was killed last week by a local militia at a border checkpoint in southern Iraq. The agent was charged with protecting consular officials for France in Basra.
His name was Marcel Dupont.
