Sarko's New Girlie – And this time it's for real. (Or is it?)
It's on every front page today: Sarkozy does it with [tag]Carla Bruni[/tag].
New pictures of [tag]Nicolas Sarkozy[/tag] with pop singer and former top model Carla Bruni have sparked renewed speculation about the French president's love life. The two were photographed together at Disneyland Paris, and "very much at ease" with the attention paid to them.
At least three magazines have announced "revealing pictures" later this week. One reporter claims that Bruni herself has confirmed that the two have an affair. The fact that fifteen (!) paparazzi of the French 'pipol' press were on the spot can only be interpreted as proof that the couple's outing was a carefully orchestrated and Sarkozy-sanctioned media event.
Italian-born Carla Bruni, who turns 40 this week and has a six-year old son, was in 1988 among the 20 highest-paid fashion models, earning $7.5 million a year. Today she is a successful singer-songwriter.
Sarkozy won't be the first to enjoy Bruni's bedside songs. She has previously dated Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Donald Trump and Kevin Costner.
