Sleepless in France

sleepless.jpg
Nearly one in two French doesn’t sleep enough.

A recent survey reveals that among young French adults 45% think they don’t get enough sleep. One in eight of all 25-45 year olds are outright insomniacs and one in six is in constant ‘sleep-debt’. Only seven in ten French sleep enough. Result: a quarter of the population doesn’t feel rested when they wake up.

The cause? You guessed it: 53% blame it on their work, an 40% on psychological difficulties.

The cure? Seven percent of all French take sleeping tablets.
