François Macré [myspace] recorded Michael Jackson’s Thriller using 64 tracks of only his voice. He mimicked all instrumental, vocal, rhythmic elements and sound effects using 64 superimposed audio-video tracks, without adding any instrument, sampler, or other effects. The result is a full a capella music project, nearly 6 minutes long. A titanic job, with great results.
