    Life in France

    Google has started to host millions of photographs from the LIFE photo archive, stretching from the 1750s to today. Most were never published and are now available for the first time through the joint work of LIFE and Google.

    Here are two French prime ministers, both qualified Frogsmokers, from the archives:

    photos from the 1750's huh? no wonder they were never published in Life, especially the colourful one where Louis XVI gets chopped ;)
