Another Photoshop Disaster
Don't you just love newspapers that are sympathetic to Sarkozy & Co? Last year, Paris-Match carefully brushed out Nick's protuberant love handles, this week Le Figaro removed a ring from the finger of Sarko's favorite minister Rachida Dati.
The newspaper's excuse is hardly convincing. "We didn't want to draw attention to that ring, and start a controversy." Well, that didn't quite work out — controversy is all over the French press. (There is of course a bit of jealousy involved; the ring that suddenly disappeared was made by Chaumet, and costs the lovely sum of 15.600 euros, which is the full French annual minimum wage.)
