Interesting experiment: what if the largest countries had the biggest populations?
Somebody sorted the world’s nations by their population and mapped them against countries sorted by area. In this new world order, four countries (including the USA) stay where they are. France moves to Peru, and the Malaysians take over France. Click the map to see all details.

Whew, that was a close one ! At least, we here in the USA will not need to move. But the French, although no doubt liking the scenery & different opportunities, will no doubt agree with me that ‘ C’est pas le Perou ‘ ! I happen to enjoy & relish Malaysian cuisine, but the loss of the baguettes would be too much for me. I recommend having the French ambassador to the UN Security Council veto the arrangement.

anybody know where Australia ends up?? probably some tiny island somewhere.
if you’d counted the sheep population, it’d be located in Brazil. For sure mate.
Australia has moved to Spain. Well, I could stock up on Vegemite whilst I’m in Europe — or is it still called Europe ? :)
